MEG C. MERCER, RN, BSN
She attended Valparaiso University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1992. Her nursing career includes clinical nursing with an emphasis on medical and surgical patient care, operating room nursing, along with developing and coordinating research studies in the department of surgery at Duke University Medical Center. She has published extensively in her field and has been a frequent presenter at seminars and professional conferences. Ms. Mercer is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC) and formerly served as President of the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of AALNC. She has been a legal nurse consultant for over 10 years.
PHOEBE BOUFEAUX, RN, BSN
She attended Central Texas College, earning an Associates degree in Applied Science in Nursing. Her nursing career includes neonatal and pediatric intensive care nursing, including clinical reserach in neonates over 14 years experience; pediatric hematology and oncology nurse manager, adult hematology and oncology research nurse, orthopedic trauma research nurse, nurse manager for medical /surgical unit and nurse manager for maternal/child health services. She also worked in precertification and medical reviews for Cigna. Phoebe has been working with the Firm since 2010.

Receptionist
She attended Elon College and Durham Technical Community College and studied early child development. She specializes in client relations and has been with our firm since 1992. She is from Birmingham, AL and resides in Durham, NC.
KAMI CROWLEY
Executive Operations Manager
Pre Litigation Case Manager
She attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Resort Management. After college, she worked as a recreation director in Pawley's Island, SC for two years. She grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA and now resides in Durham, NC. She has been working with the Firm since March 2000.
ESSIE OWEN
Mail & File Clerk
She has 26 years of combined experience in this area. Before joining the Firm in March 2000, she worked at People's Security Insurance Company and the Caring Program for Children as a file clerk. She is originally from Anchorage, AK and resides in Durham, NC.
JANIE TERRELL
Human Resources
She has 15+ years experience in human resources working in a psychiatric hospital. Her primary responsibilities include: employment, benefits and policies and procedures. Janie is originally from Dublin, VA and resides in Durham, NC.
STACEY WILLIAMS
Accounting Manager
She graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV with a Bachelors Degree in Business. She has 15 years of combined experience working in law, telecommunications, advertising and public accounting industries and joined the Firm in March 2000. She is originally from Parkersburg, WV and resides in Siler City, NC.
